The New Student Orientation provides students with information about the many resources available at Saddleback College, from student support services to special programs.

New students are introduced to MySite, the college's student portal, and to Saddleback College policies and procedures. The orientation is available online and is mandatory for all students who are required to complete the Matriculation process. Once completed, Step #1 Orientation will be recorded as "Complete" in your MySite student account.

How to Access the Orientation While in MySite

Please review the following steps to log-in to your MySite and start the Online Orientation. You must know your Saddleback College Student Number and PIN code to access your MySite. (If you don't have these items please call the Admissions and Records Office at 949-582-4555 for instructions on how to obtain them.)

  • Click on the following link to be directed right to the Online Orientation page in your MySite:

  • While in your MySite portal, follow the instructions below:
    1. Click on the link that reads: "My Information"
    2. Click on the link that reads: "Matriculation"
    3. Click on the link that reads: "Online Orientation"

Completing the Online Orientation for Matriculation

Students must complete all sections and pass the final test at the end of the orientation in order to receive credit for this step. Average time for completion is about 30 minutes. Students should print or photograph the completion certificate for their records.
