Chris Hargraves has been serving in the role of Director of Student Life at Saddleback College since November 2016. He has been a student affairs practitioner for over 13 years and prior to coming to Saddleback, worked as a Senior Assistant Dean at the University of Arizona and an Assistant Director at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Chris received his Master of Education in Higher Education at the University of Arkansas and his Bachelor of Arts from Wichita State University.
Chris is a diehard Philadelphia Eagles Fan (Fly, Eagles, Fly!), enjoys comic books, has a dog named Chuck Norris, and likes listening to all types of music, especially country and the band Hanson. He is excited to be working with the amazing students, faculty, and staff at Saddleback College. Go Gauchos!
Jacqueline joined the Student Development team as the Student Development Senior Administrative Assistant in 2017. She has been a longtime higher education professional, and previously worked in the Division of Fine Arts & Media Technology at Saddleback College. Jacqueline has an AA in English Literature from Saddleback College, a BA in English Literature from CSU Long Beach, and MA in English from CSU Fullerton. She enjoys screenwriting for TV and Film, creating Mixed Media Art, volunteering at Saddleback's radio station, KSBR, learning about anything, and empowering college students to grow.
Rachael Roberts has been serving in the South Orange County Community College District since 2015. She joined Saddleback Student Development team in 2019 as Office Assistant. Rachael received her Associates degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Irvine Valley College and is currently working on her BA in Sociology at CSU Fullerton. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, going to Disneyland, watching movies, and being at the beach.
Rachael is passionate about helping community college students develop a growth mind set in all areas of their life while encouraging campus involvement for a successful college career.
