Susan White, RN,MSN,CAPA has taught in the Health Science Division consistently since 2002. She has more than 25 years of clinical nursing, educator and healthcare management experience. Her clinical background includes work in the pre-op and post anesthesia recovery areas as well as working as nurse educator and, nurse manager. She also served for many years as Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course Director as well as teaching Basic Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Life Support and Crisis Prevention Intervention courses. For many years Susan taught part time while working in the hospital setting. In 2004, she joined the Medical Assistant Program and, in 2016 transitioned into a full time faculty position and, department chair. Susan is committed to our students, college and community. And,she finds great joy in helping our students, along with our faculty and staff to educate and prepare our medical assistants for opportunities in healthcare!
