Susan White, RN,MSN,CAPA joined Saddleback College as adjunct faculty in 2002. In 2015, she became interim Department Chair of the Medical Assistant Program and full-time instructor and was Tenured in 2021. She has more than 25 years of hospital and teaching experience. And, has served in a variety of educational roles including clinical nursing, psychiatric technician, ACLS, BLS, PALS, Crisis Prevention Intervention instructor and ACLS course director. She earned her Master's Degree in Nursing Science and has advanced certification in peri-anesthesia care. Susan also has prior work as a nurse manager for more than 12 years in surgical services and clinical nursing educator for more than six years for PCSU, Med-Tele, Respiratory, Rapid Response and SICU. She delights in educating our students and watching them grow into employed healthcare professionals.
