Saddleback College maintains an extensive wireless network throughout the campus. Our team designs and installs all wireless infrastructure, making sure members of our community have secure and easy access to network services.
On-Campus WiFi Service (COVID-19)
Hours of Operation: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Location: Parking Lot 5 (adjacent to the Sciences and Student Service Center Building). Click here for a campus map.
Please enter the campus at the Marguerite Parkway and Medical Center Drive entrance.
Parking spaces will be allotted to ensure appropriate distance between cars. Students will be asked to remain in their vehicles, and to access restrooms and food off-campus.
Guest Wireless Access
Access is available to anyone visiting Saddleback College. Please contact our Service Desk at (949) 582-4600 for more information on getting connected.
Student Wireless Access
Students currently enrolled at Saddleback College or Irvine Valley College may access the wireless network. If you have a wireless-enabled computer or mobile device, you can access the Internet from most locations on campus. Note for students in online classes: not all course material (videos, exams, quizzes, etc) will work on a mobile device.
You will be asked to provide a username and password on the network authentication page. Ensure that you are connecting to the "STUDENT" wireless network. Your username and password for the on campus wireless is the same as you use to get into your Saddleback College email, Canvas and Blackboard (see sample below). If you need help with your username or password, or want to change your password, please see the menu tab on the right labeled, "Password Reset".
Username= Saddleback email address. Exampleemail@example.com or @ivc.edu
Password= the same password you use to login to your computer on campus
Staff Wireless Access
If you work for the college, please use the "STAFF" wireless network. You will be asked to authenticate using your Active Directory account password. This is the same account you use to login on campus computers as well as accessing your email.
Additional Wireless Settings
Some systems require additional information such as Android devices and Linux based computers. The authentication methods required are displayed in the images below. If your device does not ask for these settings, it means it has already detected and set them automatically.
