There are few things more interesting than human interactions. My journey has enabled me to truly understand and appreciate the intricate behavioral patterns of individuals and the sophisticated influences of society. These societal influences are applicable to many facets of human behavior, but the one most prevalent in my research is the effect of societal norms on motherhood and breastfeeding.
In addition to research, my teaching goals are to foster a love of sociology and an appreciation of the research process. My objective is to illuminate the fact that with the application of a sociological lens all interactions can be understood in a new and fascinating light.
