About This Event
Join College Equity, Inclusion and Access, in partnership with Student Life and Mokopuni Connections, for a celebration of Hawaiian History Month on Wednesday, September 30, from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Den and BGS 254.
The event will feature a cultural history presentation from ASG’s International and Diversity Student Council, performances by Mokopuni Connections, and a screening of an episode of Chief of War, a series centered on the Indigenous people and history of Hawaiʻi. Food will also be provided.
Come learn, celebrate, and engage with Hawaiian culture and history!
Event schedule:
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Hawaiian History Month books in The Den
1 to 1:15 pm: IDSC Hawaiian Heritage Presentation in BGS 254
1:15 to 1:30 p.m.: Mokupuni Connections Performance in BGS 254
1:30 to 2 p.m.: Hawaiian BBQ served outside of BGS
2 to 3 p.m.: Chief of War episode 1 showing in BGS 254
