There are many opportunities for students to work on campus at Saddleback College.

Enhance your learning by participating in Federal Work Study (FWS), CalWORKs Work Study (CWS), student Worker, or tutoring positions. Hourly pay rates vary and currently start at $18 per hour; however, some positions may start at a higher rate of pay.

Student Employee Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be enrolled (minimum number of units vary based on position type)
  • Must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA (waived for new students)
  • Must designate Saddleback College as your official college of record
  • Additional eligibility requirements apply to students participating in Federal Work Study or CalWORKs Work Study


The Career Resource Center hosts a student worker training once a month where you can get an overview of working at Saddleback College and you’ll learn all of the basics you’ll need to be successful as a student worker on campus.
