Enjoy the Latinx Heritage Month Kickoff, a vibrant celebration of culture, community, and student success sponsored by Student Life, College Equity, Inclusion, and Access, in partnership with Bobcat Days! Join us for an afternoon featuring the energy and tradition of Ballet Folklórico, live music by Tabu, a fun game of Lotería, delicious food, and opportunities to connect with the campus community. ASG’s International and Diversity Student Council will facilitate a heritage wall where students can use sticky notes to identify words, phrases, or special memories related to their heritage.
As part of Bobcat Days, this event is designed to help students start strong and stay connected throughout their college journey. Whether you’re beginning your first year or getting ready for what’s next, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with student services and build connections with Success Coaches to explore campus resources and immerse yourself in the community.
- First-year Bobcats: Discover your School, Major, and Degree, connect with counseling and Success Coaching, sign up for Handshake, and find ways to get involved in Student Life as you begin this new chapter.
- Second-year Bobcats: Start preparing for what’s next by exploring transfer and graduation resources, important application deadlines, career, internship and research opportunities, and ways to make the most of your second year.

To receive a food ticket, students must visit the Success Coach table and check in. Stop by the table to connect with a Success Coach, learn about available support and resources, and obtain your food ticket.
