About This Event
We invite all newly hired Student Workers across campus to attend this New Student Worker Orientation training. This is a 1.5hr training that covers campus basics, payroll/timesheets reminders, customer service, FERPA, emergencies, and other important topics to help you be successful in your new role on campus.
New sessions will be added throughout the semester.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
When can I attend this Orientation training?
You can only attend after you complete all required HR onboarding and are given an official ‘Start Date’/’Hire Date.’
We recommend all Student Workers to attend during the first or second week of employment.
Is this Orientation paid?
Yes, this is paid training for all new Work-Study Student Workers.
Manager approval is required for all other types of Student Workers.
Can I attend this Orientation training during my scheduled work hours?
Yes. If your manager approves.
This orientation will be held in-person at the Career Resource Center Lounge, located in the Gateway Building, GW 273. Let us know you'll attend by registering using the link here.
