MyPath2ASU™

General university admission is guaranteed upon successful completion of the following conditions:

  • Completion of an associate degree from a regionally accredited higher education institution with a minimum 2.00 cumulative GPA (Arizona residents) or 2.50 cumulative GPA (nonresidents) 

OR

  • Completion of 24 or more transferable semester credits post-high school with a minimum cumulative transfer GPA of 2.50 (4.00=“A”) and verification of high school graduation or the equivalent.


NOTE: Some ASU colleges and schools have additional or higher requirements for admission into their majors. Students will also need to submit an Arizona State University admission application, including an application fee and other required documents, such as official college/university transcripts.

MyPath2ASU™ pathway programs are based on a minimum of 24 transfer credit hours; students with fewer than 24 credit transfer credit hours will need to meet the appropriate admission requirements. International students will need to meet international admission requirements.

Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) for Health Sciences

The Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) is made between Chapman University and Saddleback College to set forth the admission requirements for transfer from Saddleback to Chapman for the Health Sciences major.

Saddleback students wishing to transfer to Chapman University must take the following steps:

  • Apply for admission through the Chapman University application process and meet all other admission requirements and deadlines as outlined by Chapman University
  • Complete the preadmission course work for the intended major

Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) - Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG)

Prospective students must meet all three requirements to be considered for TAG:

  1. Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
  2. At least two years of professional work experience
  3. Qualifying 60 units of coursework:
    • 60 transferable semester units. Half of these semester units require a grade of "C" or better in the following subject areas:
      • 3 semester units of English Composition
      • 3 semester units of College Algebra
      • 3 semester units of Physical Science or Biology
      • 6 semester units of Humanities and Fine Arts 6 semester units of Social Science
      • 9 semester units of additional General Education
      • 30 total units
    • Complete the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC), or the California State University General Education (CSU GE) transfer requirements.
    • Complete a standard associate's degree. Classes must include three semesters minimum of Algebra or higher, and three semesters of English Composition. Please note, your grade must be a C or better.

Student Eligibility Requirements:

  • Complete a La Verne TAG application while enrolled at the community college.
  • TAG students are eligible to transfer to La Verne using the TAG agreement once they complete a minimum of 28 semester hours of transferable coursework at participating community college with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 and the completion of a college-level English course.

    Adult students wishing to transfer to CAPA, one of the seven regional campuses (campuses on military bases are excluded), or La Verne Online who do not meet these requirements will be considered for admission but would not be eligible for the TAG scholarship.
  • Submit a University of La Verne application for admission and meet all the admission requirements for the degree program and the campus for which he/she is applying that are articulated in La Verne catalog in effect at the time of their TAG admission.
  • Declare a major at the time of application to the University of La Verne.
  • Transfer to La Verne the semester immediately following their attendance at the Partner College, summer term excluded. If enrollment at La Verne in the subsequent term is not possible, the student is eligible to apply for a new TAG when he/she returns to Partner College.
  • TAG students must matriculate at La Verne within two (2) years of the TAG admission. If matriculation takes place after two years, TAG students must reapply for admission and follow the catalog requirements in effect at the time of readmission.
