Students in the EKG/ECG Certificate of Completion program learn skills related to cardiac testing, 12‐lead ECG, Stress Testing and Holter monitoring. Emphasis on the cardiopulmonary anatomy, physiology, obtaining ECG recordings and measurements identifying cardiac rhythms. Coursework prepares for employment in a medical office, an ambulatory care center or hospital performing telemetry monitoring, preparation for Stress Testing and Holter Monitoring. Designed for the incumbent worker or student seeking additional job skills. Students must complete and pass all course assignments, demonstrations and examinations.
