The Automotive Program will be hosting their Electric Vehicle (EV) Racing Tournament, Car Show and Open House this Saturday, May 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Parking Lot 1. Students, employees, and community members are invited to attend.
Over 25 high school teams and 250 students will showcase their impressive creations by competing head-to-head in an exhilarating timed-trial race for the top prize. Spectators can expect to witness cutting-edge technology, creative design solutions, and fierce competition as teams vie for the coveted first-place prize.
Beyond the excitement of the races, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with students and educators, gaining valuable insights into the future of sustainable transportation. The event will also feature a car show and open house, where attendees can explore the latest advancements in automotive technology and interact with industry professionals.
Food for purchase will be made available by Wahoo's. This is a free event and all are welcome!
