About the College and Career Preparatory Academy (CCPA) High School Diploma Program

If you are 18-25 years of age and have not received your high school diploma, here’s your second chance with a new FREE program just for you. The College and Career Preparatory Academy, through special partnerships with the Orange County Department of Education and Community Organizations will help you earn your diploma AND provide you with career planning and workforce preparation for high demand jobs throughout Orange County. Created specifically for adults with busy schedules, full time jobs and family responsibilities, we develop an individualized study program to help you earn the credits you need to graduate. We build your study commitments around your life commitments. Not the other way around. Plus, our locations throughout Orange County make it easy to work into your schedule. You’ll work hard, but we’ll work harder to help you. In a short period of time you’ll be on track to your diploma and the future of your dreams!

The College and Career Preparatory Academy (CCPA) gives you the personalized support, guidance and tools you need to earn a High School Diploma.

  • Ages 18-25
  • No residency requirements
  • WASC Accredited
  • 220 Diploma requirements
  • Students are assessed upon enrollment. An Individualized Education Career Service Plan is then completed with a counselor/teacher and is adjusted accordingly
  • Open entry/open exit
  • Online and paper-pencil independent studies program
  • Technology and support are available to assist with the online portion of the program
  • Flexible day/evening class schedules Monday-Saturday
  • Instruction through Independent Study
  • Instructional materials provided along with 181 online courses including 72 Career Technical Education and 27 A-G courses
  • Transition services to post-secondary education and training

Additional Information

CUSD and SVUSD Graduation Requirement Change (CAHSEE)

The requirement to pass the CAHSEE (California High School Exit Examination) as a condition of graduation was rescinded in January 2016. If you have received a Certificate of Achievement from a Capistrano Unified School District high school or from a Saddleback Valley Unified School District high school, you are now entitled to receive a diploma.
