Are you new to Saddleback College or interested in learning more about the types of grants we offer? Join us for Lunch and Learn or Dinner and Learn to find out about your eligibility, the steps you may need to take, and discover how you can qualify for up to $3,500* towards your education.

Each year, roughly $550 million in financial aid goes unclaimed in the state of California. Many students think they won’t qualify for financial aid based on their income alone; however, several factors are taken into account when determining eligibility.

*Eligible Saddleback College students were awarded an average of $3,500 in federal and state
financial assistance in academic year 2024-25, with many students receiving much more.

New students and families for Fall 2025 who have not yet submitted a financial aid application are
encouraged to attend. These sessions will guide students through completing applications and types
of financial aid, ensuring they take full advantage of available resources.
