Biography

Frank Gonzalez has been teaching college Mathematics for over 25 years and has been a full-time faculty member at Saddleback College since 2008. While at Saddleback his efforts to improve mathematics education created a more student-centered department. Frank has also worked on several projects aimed at improving college STEM education, including being a founding member of the National STEM-Core Network and increasing minority involvement in STEM fields through projects such as the Orange County Bridge to Engineering and NSF Includes.

In his spare time, Frank's hobbies include vacationing with his family, playing guitar, surfing, and snowboarding.
