Honoring heritage months and cultural recognitions at Saddleback College is a significant way to celebrate our diverse community, promote inclusivity, and raise awareness about various cultural histories and traditions. Honoring heritage months and cultural recognitions not only provides opportunities for the Saddleback College community to celebrate the richness of different cultures, but also fosters a campus environment where diversity is celebrated, and everyone feels valued. These recognitions are an excellent opportunity to build understanding and forge stronger connections among students, faculty, and staff from different backgrounds.

Program/Event Funding

The Student Development Office may be able to help eligible groups with funding their program or event. For more information and the funding request criteria, please email scstudentdevelopment@saddleback.edu. 

NOTE: A three-week minimum from the event or program is required for a proposal to be considered.
