Kari Irwin, MA

In our field of education, we have an opportunity to spark passion, provide social & economic mobility, and positively affect future generations.  With experience in both the private and public sectors, I’ve worked in the California Community College system since 2004 and have focused my higher education career on workforce/economic development and career education. Currently, in my role as the Assistant Dean of Career Technical Education (CTE) at Saddleback College, I work to elevate access and success for students in pathways from K12, to college, to career. 

Advancing this work includes roles with the Saddleback College Career Education Committee, K12 Strong Workforce Program Orange County (OC) Selection Committee, Pathways Regional Design Team Member for OC Department of Education, as well as previously serving on the Board of Directors for the California Community College Association for Occupational Education.
