About This Event
The Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS) is hosting a grand opening for their new Center for Assistive Technology (CAT) Lab in the Gateway building.
The CAT Lab is designed to support students with assistive technology, adaptive tools, and AI-driven strategies for academic success. Students can explore apps and software such as text-to-speech, dictation, Kurzweil 3000, and emerging AI tools to enhance learning. Students are also invited to attend workshops and trainings, take advantage of our supervised open labs, and discover new ways to study, connect, and thrive.
The grand opening event is being held on Thursday, September 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Gateway 281. Free tacos will be provided. Priority is given to students with disabilities, but all are welcome. Come celebrate, meet our team, and explore this exciting new resource on campus!
