Saddleback Art Gallery
The word Art appears in red imposed on a golden paint splatter next to a red paintbrush.

Come experience the multi-media artworks of Professor Barbara Holmes, created during her recent sabbatical. These works draw inspiration from her explorations of Land Art in the American West, using it as a lens to examine questions of land use and environmental issues due to anthropic activity in the landscape. Focusing on the Great Basin Region, Holmes weaves together imagery, materials, and forms that reflect both the beauty and vulnerability of this unique environment.
