At this time, students who do not physically live in California are not permitted to take fully online courses from Saddleback College.
Federal regulation requires institutions offering distance education to acquire authorization from any U.S. state in which it "operates." Saddleback College does not have the required permission for students living in other states to take courses at Saddleback College. This permission is required to maintain eligibility for students of that state to receive federal financial aid.
Until further notice, Saddleback College is not filing for authorization to operate in other states. We recommend that students seeking community college courses look for classes offered from an institution in their own state. Click here or more information about "State Authorization".
