Six UC campuses offer guaranteed admission to California community college students who meet specific requirements. By participating in a Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) program, students receive early review of their academic records, early admission notification, and specific guidance about major preparation and general education coursework.
The six TAG campuses are UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Merced, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, and UC Santa Cruz. Students who submit a TAG by the September 30th deadline must also file a UC application for undergraduate admission by November 30th.
NOTE: You can only submit a TAG application to one of the six participating UC campuses. However, you can apply for admission to as many UC campuses as you wish.

REMINDER: You sign a TAG during the semester you are applying to transfer. (Example: Sign a TAG in Fall 2022 to transfer Fall 2023).
UC Transfer Admission Planner (TAP) is an online tool to help prospective UC transfer students track and plan their coursework. The planner helps students track their progress toward meeting UC's minimum requirements, and allows UC staff to communicate important information to prospective transfer students.
Students, please remember to complete the UC Transfer Academic Update with your Fall grades and any coursework changes by the January 31 priority deadline.
