About This Event

Help us bridge the end of Black History Month and the beginning of Women’s History Month with a performance and workshop from Ebony Stewart on Thursday, March 6, from 3 to 5 p.m. in CC 212.

Ebony will host a workshop and perform her work at 3 p.m. Then, join the Creative Writing Club at the open mic at 5 p.m.

As a Black womxn writer and performance artist, Stewart harnesses the power of creativity to explore and challenge societal norms, personal identity, and the intersectionality of her experiences. Stewart has many accolades, including being a Woman of the World Poetry Slam Champion. Her work has been featured in The Root, For Harriet, AfroPunk, Teen Vogue, and seen on Button Poetry.
